The clients brief was to bring interactivity to a Vodafone sales team conference. There were close to 1500 attendees and 1 iPad was shared between 3 people. We created a bespoke App with whiteboarding features so they could collaborate and answer polls throughout the meeting. The meeting slides were to be displayed live on the iPad screens and advance in sync with the Presenters.
We provided 500 iPads and 20 spare units, the iPads were preloaded with our own customised event App. In addition the iPads were locked down using guided access, so that attendees could not browse the open web. All iPads were configured in our workshops to connect to a dedicated WiFi network as soon as they were powered on, no configuration on site was required.
